Holy Trinity Dimanche
Le dimanche après la Pentecôte, honorant un seul Dieu en trois personnes — le Père, le Fils et le Saint-Esprit.
Pourquoi on la célèbre
Trinity Sunday celebrates the central Christian belief in one God who is Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
L’histoire qui s’y rattache
Saint Patrick, the story goes, explained the Trinity to the people of Ireland with a three-leafed shamrock — three leaves, one plant. Christians begin and end their prayers “In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit”.
Comment la célébrer
- Attend Sunday Mass
- Pray the “Glory be to the Father…”
- Make the sign of the cross with care
- Teach children the shamrock story
