The Parsi year has twelve months of 30 days — Farvardin, Ardibehesht, Khordad, Tir, Amardad, Shehrevar, Meher, Avan, Adar, Dae, Bahman and Aspandarmad — and five extra Gatha days, 365 in all.

📖 આની પાછળની કથા

The months are named after the Amesha Spentas and Yazatas, the holy immortals and adorable beings of the faith: Ardibehesht for truth and righteousness, Khordad for perfection, Amardad for immortality, Shehrevar for good rule, Aspandarmad for devotion and the earth. Many Parsis visit the fire temple on the first day of the month.
