ಮಹಾ ನವಮೀ
ನವರಾತ್ರಿಯ ಒಂಬತ್ತನೇ ದಿನ: ಸಿದ್ಧಿದಾತ್ರಿ ಪೂಜೆ, ಆಯುಧ ಪೂಜೆ ಮತ್ತು ನವರಾತ್ರಿ ಹೋಮ.
ಏಕೆ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ
On Ashwin Shukla Navami the Goddess is worshipped as Siddhidatri, giver of all powers; in the South, tools and books are worshipped (Ayudha Puja, Saraswati Puja).
ಇದರ ಹಿಂದಿನ ಕಥೆ
This is the last day of the Goddess’s battle with Mahishasura. Before the final battle, it is said, the gods placed their weapons before her, so on this day people honour the tools of their work — from ploughs and vehicles to pens and computers. In the Mahabharata, Arjuna recovered his weapons hidden in a shami tree after the Pandavas’ year in disguise ended.

- Perform the Navratri havan and Kanya Pujan
- Clean and worship your tools, vehicles and books (Ayudha Puja)
- Keep books before the Goddess and do not study until tomorrow (ದಕ್ಷಿಣ)
- Prepare for Vijayadashami
