ಏಳನೇ ಸಿಖ್ ಗುರು, ಸೌಮ್ಯತೆ, ಪ್ರಕೃತಿ ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಉಚಿತ ಗಿಡಮೂಲಿಕೆ ಔಷಧಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆಸರಾದವರು.
ಏಕೆ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ
Guru Har Rai Sahib Ji (1630–1661), grandson of Guru Hargobind, is remembered on his Parkash, Gurgaddi and Joti Jot days.
ಇದರ ಹಿಂದಿನ ಕಥೆ
As a boy, Har Rai’s wide robe once brushed against a rose bush and broke a flower. His grandfather told him gently that a robe should be held carefully so that nothing is hurt — and he never forgot it. At Kiratpur he kept gardens and a dispensary of herbal medicines open to all; when Dara Shikoh, son of Emperor Shah Jahan, fell gravely ill, a rare herb from the Guru’s store helped him recover. He kept a cavalry, yet never fought a battle.
