In North India Hanuman’s birth is kept on Chaitra Purnima. Some regions keep it on other dates — in the South often in Margashirsha, and on Kartik Krishna Chaturdashi in parts of the North।

📖 এর পেছনের কাহিনি

Hanuman was born to Anjana and Kesari, blessed by Vayu, the wind god। As a child he took the rising Sun for a ripe fruit and leapt to swallow it; Indra struck him with his thunderbolt and hurt his jaw (hanu) — hence the name Hanuman। The gods then blessed him with great powers. He later found Sita in Lanka, carried a whole mountain for Lakshmana’s healing herb, and became the model of selfless devotion।
