About Johny Johny Yes Papa

“Johny Johny Yes Papa” is a playful nursery rhyme about a little boy caught sneaking sugar. Children love the question-and-answer pattern and the funny ending.

It is a natural way to talk about honesty: why do we tell the truth, even when we have done something small and silly?

Act it out — one person is Papa asking the questions, the other is Johny answering. Swap roles and sing it again.
